Acquire must be in Admin mode to perform these steps.
Acquire’s settings can be adjusted to optimise server performance.
The default settings will share performance to allow other applications to run alongside Acquire e.g. when a browser is running on the same machine.
If Acquire is running on a dedicated server then it can be set to use all of the available processor. With ‘High Priority’ selected Acquire will cause the machine to run in 100% CPU usage. This is not necessarily a bad thing as Acquire will be able to respond to its own database events much quicker e.g. Modbus polls will be faster.
To revert Acquire to default settings click the ‘Medium’ button.
