Viewing Duty/Standby Stations

This is an optional feature and will only be available if it has been licensed in the key file.

When Acquire is running in Duty / Standby mode a popup menu will be added to the top banner to allow switching between the duty and standby views of the data:

P&ID
The P&ID allows the user to toggle between the duty and standby flow computers. It will default to displaying the duty flow computer.

If the flow computers switch roles, the P&ID will follow the duty flow computer.

Screens
The screens allow the user to toggle between the duty and standby flow computers. They will default to displaying the duty flow computer.

If the flow computers switch roles, the screens will follow the duty flow computer.

Prover
The prover will only show data from the duty machine. All historical prove data is from the duty machine only.

If the flow computer switches roles during a prove, the prove will be aborted in the flow computer.

Batches
The batch screens will only show data from the duty machine. The batch schedule and all historical batch data is from the duty machine only.

If the flow computer switches roles during a prove, the prove will be aborted in the flow computer.

Alarms
The alarms screen will show alarms from both the duty and the standby flow computer in the same list. Configure the preferences screen to filter standby alarms.

Audit Trail
The audit trail screen will show events from both the duty and the standby flow computer in the same list.

Reports
Reports from both the flow computers are collected and stored in the database. The report from the flow computer that was duty at the time will be marked as “duty”.

The duty reports will be shown by default (regardless of the flow computer that collected them). Reports for individual flow computers can be seen for audit purposes.

Modbus Server / OPC Server
Data from the duty machine will be served to the Modbus server / OPC server.
