Adding a Configuration

N.B. This feature is only available on the SCADA server or in standalone Profile.

1. Click the cog icon in the Location Bar and select ‘Configurations’ on the menu

2. Select the configuration type 1

3. Click the ‘Add Config’ button 2

The configuration editor is displayed:

The left hand sidebar 4 shows the list of available sections.

The right hand panel 5 shows the set of fields associated with the selected section.

3. Enter a name for the configuration 3

4. Select a section in the sidebar 4

5. Click the ‘Add Field’ button 6

If there is not a row selected, the new field will be added at the top of the list. If a row is selected, the new row will be added immediately above the selected row.

To delete a field, select its row in the list and click the ‘Delete Field’ button 7.

To reorder fields, drag and drop them to a new position in the list.

6. If the historical data sections will each use different fields, repeat steps 4 and 5 for all of the applicable sections in the sidebar

7. If all historical data sections will use the same fields, tick the ‘Common fields for historical data’ checkbox and the fields will only need to be entered once 8

8. Click the ‘Save’ button to save the changes and return to the Configurations list 9

N.B. Click the ‘Apply’ button to save the changes without returning to the Configurations list 10.
