N.B. This feature is only available on the Enterprise server or in standalone Profile.
Grouped batches are batches that have been grouped together based on an assigned group name, start and end date and product. Profile will link these batches together, summating their individual gross, net, NSV and mass totals to provide group totals.
Users must have the “View Batches” privilege to view grouped batches and “Edit Batches” privilege to create or edit them. See the ‘Users’ section for more detail.
1. Click the cog icon in the Location Bar and select ‘Settings’ on the menu

2. Click ‘Batches’ in the left hand column 1
The Batches settings screen is displayed:
3. Tick the ‘Group batches’ checkbox to enable the feature 2
4. Enter an alternative descriptor if required 3
The alternative name will be used instead of Group Name throughout the Profile interface.
5. Click the ‘Save’ button to save the changes and exit the Settings section 4
N.B. Click the ‘Apply’ button to save the changes and remain in the Equipment Types section. 5
