N.B. This must be performed on the server.
1. Open the configuration
2. Click on the ‘Overview’ configuration settings panel
The Overview can include up to 5 fields from all configurations on the system.
3. Click on the ‘Define Field’ column heading of column 1
4. Enter the title for the column
5. Click the ‘OK’ button
6. Click on the box in the row underneath the column heading
7. Enter the details as follows:
| Field | This field contains the name of the RTU field whose value will be displayed on the report.Tip: Entering a portion of the field name and then clicking the ‘Go’ button will search the RTU fields for matches. Entering the Modbus address will also go straight to that field. |
| Decimal Places | This popup menu defines the number of decimal places that the value will be displayed with. |
8. Highlight the field in the list
9. Click the ‘Select’ button
Alternatively double click on the field.
10. Repeat steps 3 to 9 for columns 2, 3, 4 and 5 to add more fields to the overview
11. Click the ‘OK’ button
This return to the main configuration page.
12. Click the ‘Apply’ button.
This will make the configuration changes active.
Tip: This method allows the overview to be setup for a single configuration only. Alternatively, select ‘Overview…’ from the ‘Config’ menu to set up the overview for all configurations.
