Note: Clicking on a data point on the chart will display the associated prove record.

Flow Rate Linearisation

Approve Flowrate Linearisation Chart

This chart can be plotted using a K Factor curve or Meter Factor curve based on the type of base curve that was selected for the meter.

The Flow Rate Linearisation chart plots the meter’s base curve and its deviation limits.

The limits from this chart are based on the meter’s test 1 deviation limits.

It will plot the currently selected prove and the predicted prove.

All the historical proves are plotted as grey dots.

Mousing over the dots on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the dots will take you directly into that prove.

Position the mouse on the chart and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the chart. Drag the mouse to pan the chart.

Test 1 will fail if the prove is outside of the base curve’s deviation limit.

Flow Rate Linearisation with Offset

The Flow Rate Linearisation with Offset chart is only available if a base curve offset has been applied to the meter’s base curve. It plots the flow rate linearisation chart with the offset applied.

Test 1 will use this chart in place of the standard flow rate linearisation chart when an offset is being used. Test 1 will fail if the prove is outside of the offset base curve’s deviation limit.

Proved Historical Meter Factor Chart

Approve Proved Historical Meter Factor Chart

The Proved Historical Meter Factor chart plots the normalised meter factor for each prove on the current base curve as a line chart.

The average meter factor is the mean of the meter factor from passed proves.

The limits from this chart are based on the meter’s test 2 control chart limits; they can either be “fixed” or “movable” limits.

When movable limits are selected, the limits are automatically calculated:

The action limit is plotted based on student T-distribution with a 95% confidence level.

The tolerance limit is plotted based on student T-distribution with a 99.5% confidence level.

The limits are plotted once there are 4 passed proves available.

When fixed limits are selected, the limits are drawn based on the meter’s settings.

Mousing over the line on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the points will take you directly into that prove.

Position the mouse on the chart and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the chart. Drag the mouse to pan the chart.

Test 2 will fail if the prove is outside of the tolerance limits.

Note: This chart is only available on the Prove Detail screen. It is not available on the Prove History screens.

Deviation From Previous Prove Chart

Approve Deviation from Previous Proves Chart

The Deviation From Previous Prove chart plots the percentage deviation between each prove for each prove on the current base curve as a line chart.

The deviation limit is based on the meter’s test 3 deviation limits.

Mousing over the line on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the points will take you directly into that prove.

Position the mouse on the chart and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the chart. Drag the mouse to pan the chart.

Test 3 will fail if the prove is outside of the limits.

Historical Temperature and Pressure Chart

Approve Temperature and Pressure Chart

The Historical Temperature and Pressure chart plots the meter temperature and pressure against the prover temperature and pressure for each prove on the current base curve as a line chart.

Note: There should be four individual lines. If you see less than 4 lines this probably means that parameters inputs are shared with another parameter.

Mousing over the line on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the points will take you directly into that prove.

Position the mouse on the chart and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the chart. Drag the mouse to pan the chart.

Meter Factor and Temperature Chart

Approve Meter Factor and Temperature Chart

The Meter Factor and Temperature chart plots the meter factor and the meter temperature for each prove on the current base curve as a line chart.

Mousing over the line on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the points will take you directly into that prove.

Position the mouse on the chart and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the chart. Drag the mouse to pan the chart.

Repeatability and Reproducibility Chart

Approve Repeatability and Reproducibility Chart

The Repeatability and Reproducibility chart plots the repeatability and the reproducibility for each prove on the current base curve as a line chart.

Mousing over the line on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the points will take you directly into that prove.

Position the mouse on the chart and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the chart. Drag the mouse to pan the chart.

Meter Factor Regression Chart

Approve Meter Factor Regression Chart

The Meter Factor Regression chart compares the proved meter factor with the predicted meter factor for each prove on the current base curve as a line chart.

The regression settings are defined for each meter. The regression can be based on flow rate, date, temperature, pressure and density.

The chart calculates the deviation limits from the predicted meter factor. These limits are based on the meter’s regression limits.

If the regression is working well, the proved meter factor should be within these limits.

Mousing over the line on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the points will take you directly into that prove.

Position the mouse on the chart and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the chart. Drag the mouse to pan the chart.

Drift Chart

Approve Drift Chart

The Drift chart plots the percentage deviation over the last 5 accepted proves for each prove on the current base curve as a line chart.

The deviation limit is based on the meter’s drift limits.

Mousing over the line on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the points will take you directly into that prove.

Position the mouse on the chart and use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out of the chart. Drag the mouse to pan the chart.

Days Between Proves Chart

Approve Days Between Proves Chart

The Days Between Proves chart plots the number of days between accepted proves for each prove on the current base curve as a bar chart.

The limit is based on the meter’s maximum days between prove setting.

Mousing over the bar on the chart will provide extended information about the prove. Clicking on one of the bars will take you directly into that prove.

If there are more proves than will fit on the chart then the chart will become scrollable. Drag the chart to the right to see older proves.

Days Between Proves with Meter Factor Chart

Approve Days Between Proves with Meter Factor Chart

As per the Days Between Proves Chart with Meter Factor also plotted.
