The range of equipment available will depend on which licences have been purchased:
Profile™ only allows meters to be added. To enable other equipment types, Inventory™ must be activated in the key and on the Station Settings screen. To enable test equipment, Calibrate™ must be activated in the key and on the Station Settings screen.
The equipment types that are displayed when adding equipment will depend on what has been configured in the Equipment Types settings.
The fields that are displayed when adding equipment will depend on what has been configured in the Equipment Fields settings.
1. Navigate to the station

2. Click the ‘Equipment’ tab in the Navigation Bar
N.B. The tab will be labelled ‘Meters’ rather than ‘Equipment’ until Inventory™ has been added.

The New Equipment screen is displayed:
4. Select an Equipment Type and Model 2
N.B. The equipment types and models that are displayed will depend on what has been configured in the Equipment Types settings.
5. Enter a Product Code and Serial Number 3
N.B. The Product Code is the manufacturer’s re-ordering code. Serial number and model combinations must be unique across the whole system.
6. Select the location of the equipment 4
7. Select an existing tag or enter a new tag name 5
8. Select the date when the equipment was installed 6
9. Add comments as required 7
N.B. Comments is an optional field on the Equipment Fields settings screen.
10. Click the ‘Add Document’ button to upload attachments as required 8
N.B. Documents can added for a single piece of equipment or added to all equipment of that equipment type. Documents is an optional field on the Equipment Fields settings screen and will only be available if Record™ has been purchased and activated in the key and on the Station Settings screen.
